For the first MAIMI'S BARIN of the year, I was torn between recommending a book or a movie. But then I was making a REMIX CD as a gift for my dad, and it made me really want to introduce some music, so I've decided to list my mix here.
There's no high-tech system here where you can just click and the music plays, so it's just a bulleted list. Please search for and listen to any songs that catch your interest (← analog).
When I had a POPUP event at Shibuya TSUTAYA before, they set up a special corner called the "Designer's Roots Corner" where I displayed books, CDs, and movies that were my roots. Among those, I highly recommended an album called "SUPER BEST TRANCE" from the "Trance" genre. That's why I've made the thumbnail here "SUPER BEST TRANCE" as well! And when I met everyone afterward, they told me they tried trance, put the album on, and it really helped them focus while working, so please give it a listen too (lol).
It's my youth.
It's strange, but when you listen to a song, the feelings from that time come flooding back, and the smells, colors, and scenes from that moment resurface in your mind, making you feel incredibly nostalgic and deeply emotional. It's nice to listen to songs you used to listen to sometimes. That's what I thought. So, I'll introduce some of those songs.
I'll list the song title on the left and the artist name on the right. I'll categorize them by my personal genres. I can't fit everything, so this will be Vo.1. I'll release vo.2 someday. I'm sure you'll know some of the songs, and I'd be happy if you discover a surprise song here!
