MAIMI'S BRAIN Vol.1

MAIMI'S BRAIN Vo,1

For Vol. 1, I'd like to introduce a movie that fits with the theme of "I DON'T LIE TO MYSELF," which is also the theme of this installment of KOBIANI's Re. START.

It's one of my top 3 favorite movies.

【Dead Poets Society】
What it means to be human, what it means to be oneself. What it means to be a friend.
Don't conform.

And above all,
Live life cherishing the present.

I'll write about it without spoilers, as some people might want to watch it.
It's a story about students and a teacher, and watching it made me think, "Who you meet and what you learn from them is truly important."
However, we can't choose everyone we encounter.
So, I hope that by encountering "wonderful adults" in this movie, I can aspire to become one myself.
That's what I hope for.

I encountered this movie about 7 years ago and was deeply moved.
It made me want to become an adult like that.

I believe movies are like textbooks that can change our personality, our sensibilities, and even our way of life.
I think Japan should re-evaluate its education system. It squashes attempts without explanation, telling people their ideas are impossible.
And it's "right face right, left face left," and if you ever look the wrong way, you're out.
We're made to memorize things like robots.
Ultimately, we end up forgetting how to fundamentally think for ourselves.

We need to realize that in a world where we can make our own choices,
We should research, choose, learn for ourselves, and live in the present.
If we can do that,
I think the future could be better than it is now.
