インドで感じた事、それは「ピンク」が多い事。
サリーを着ている人々、レンガの色、花の色、空気の色さえもピンクがかっていた。
空もピンクでピンクシティの名で知られるジャイプールへ訪れた時も全てがピンクだった。
インドの街中では色味が強いpsychedelicな看板にも負けないくらい綺麗で華やかなサリーを纏った美しい女性たちに目を惹かれた。
目が合うと可愛らしく歯を見せて笑う彼女たちに惹かれた。
暖かなふわっとした感触と共にこのニットを制作。
真ん中のデザインはインドのタージマハルやアグラで見た幾何学的パターンと星のタイル張りからインスパイアされたデザインに。

Even the sky was pink, and when I visited Jaipur, known as the Pink City, everything was pink.
On the streets of India, my eyes were drawn to beautiful women in saris that were as beautiful and gorgeous as the psychedelic billboards with their strong colors.
I was drawn to their cute toothy smiles when our eyes met.
Along with the warm fluffy feeling, I created this knit.
The design in the middle was inspired by the geometric patterns and star tiling I saw at the Taj Mahal and Agra in India.
