What's "My Me"?

MESSAGE

This series expresses the "sense of discomfort" that MAIMI felt during her travels, and themes of discovering a new self.

"Discovering a new self" means pulling out the other self that was hidden within and dancing with it. I felt that by dancing, I could enjoy this world of discomfort.

These overalls are a different color of a design produced at KOBINAI in 2016-2017.
The theme at that time was "Break Free from Restrictions."
From 2016, when I felt the world was full of restrictions, to 2023, I now believe that while restrictions exist, I can live without even feeling them, depending on myself. We produced them with pink fabric along with the revival.

The intention behind MyMe's prevalent pink and black color scheme is the opposing cuteness and darkness.
It expresses light in darkness, and love.
