A cool, pretentious, and overly neat world is boring.

It's not something that just started recently, but I feel like society is bound by these "it has to be this way" notions, such as trends being a certain way, clothes having to be worn a certain way, or photos having to be taken a certain way. I don't see why people can't just think for themselves and do what they like. It feels like everyone has forgotten what they truly like.

This "Liberated Area" was born from expressing the contents of my mind as they are, by liberating my heart.

I want to convey what I want to convey now. Sometimes there's no reason; I just act on instinct. That's what it means to be human. I wanted to convey the power of words as they are, so I scribbled down emotions that came from the bottom of my stomach. I don't know whether my brain or my hand came first, but I drew and shaped things purely intuitively and instinctively as my body moved. I created a space where I expanded on such fantasies, with clothes, masks, and patterns belonging to a tribe called the KOBINAI tribe that inhabits this space.

"Liberated Area" is a place where I can feel that I am okay as I am.

I endlessly wish for this world to be overflowing with excitement and sparkle.

Works will be available for purchase at this exhibition. Furthermore, it will be a world linked to the "Liberated Area" announced in the KOBINAI 2022 AW COLLECTION, and this season's clothes, head accessories, and exhibition-limited items will also be available for purchase.

This is my first solo exhibition in 6 years! There are all sorts of things happening in the world, but I decided to hold this exhibition because I thought, "I just want to uplift everyone!" So I want to make it an uplifting exhibition! I would be very happy if you could come and see it!
