HAPPY BAG reservations are now open! The first week of December is already over, and we're halfway through the month. How should I spend the rest of the year? I have so many things left to do that I feel like throwing my hands up and saying, "Oh, I have to do that too. I haven't done this yet." But I'm going to think positively about what I can do with the time remaining. (laughs
This year's HAPPY BAG is also quite luxurious, and some sold-out items might be restocked! If you're interested, don't miss the next restock, as it sold out quickly after a small re-arrival.
This time there are four types!
They all contain different items, including outerwear and up to 10 items, so choose and get what you like.
They will arrive on January 1st (New Year's Day)!
Also, a SAMPLE SALE will be held for three days starting on the 18th, so please clear your schedule and come visit! There will be one-of-a-kind samples that never made it to production, as well as archived items on sale. For those who couldn't make it to this year's POPUP, this year's items will also be available!
On a personal note, I recently visited museums in Hakone. I vaguely remember going there when I was in elementary school, a long, long time ago, but of course, I have no clear memories. However, what you think and feel differs at different times in your life, so I wanted to go now that I'm an adult.
This is the Hakone Open-Air Museum, and it's incredibly vast with so many things to see. I haven't had many opportunities to interact with "sculpture," and without such a large site, there would be no space to display so many massive sculptures. I realized it would be impossible to see all of this together in Tokyo.
As I walked around, I thought, "What kind of person made this, and what were they feeling when they created it?"
And there it was, right there.
I pondered the meaning of it all.
A long time ago, when Niki de Saint Phalle's exhibition was held in Japan,
I didn't know about Niki de Saint Phalle and couldn't go. But on this trip, I finally saw her work in person. As expected, large works are awe-inspiring. It was also interesting to see her "standing there with a vast background" as a set.
