This topic seems like it's going to be very long (I'll discuss it in more detail on the PODCAST radio), so it might take a while to get to the main point. First, let's talk about "I SWEAR" from the title! LOL
We've started selling the PINK "I SWEAR" plush toys in BIG & middle sizes, which we've received many inquiries about!
Thankfully, the largest "I SWEAR" (was it about 1M 40cm?) found new homes in about 10 minutes!
So, we've restocked a small quantity of the BIG size!
I hope the "I SWEAR" plushies that found new homes will be happy!
I created this character with the meaning of "I SWEAR" = "I swear to myself." It appears in the picture book from the very beginning, but the birth of "I SWEAR" hasn't been revealed yet.
↑ I just realized that.
Some of you might have seen the talking "I SWEAR" during live streams, and it's a sassy but cute character. lol
I've been trying to do too many things at once, and editing YouTube videos isn't progressing as fast as I'd like. I want to share them with everyone soon, but I just realized that with one brain and one body, there really isn't enough time. (lol
Music is also delayed!
And the new product is the OR series.
It's a unisex size, and the color is a dull, vintage-style black rather than a pure black.
The message is:
"Truth and falsehood are always side by side. 0 and 101 are also side by side. Dystopia and utopia are always side by side. Opposites are always side by side, so you can choose which path to take, depending on yourself. The choice is always yours."
This is the message I put into this drawing.
You are always making choices, and it's always up to you.
Recently, I've been trying not to get too involved in news and politics, but there are so many irritating topics that the more I think about them, the more anger builds up, and I was almost caught in a negative loop. (I did vent on Twitter.)
I truly experienced how anger begets anger.
Especially for those who are sensitive to such news and easily affected mentally and physically, I honestly think it's better not to delve too deeply into the news. If you take things too personally, your body and mind really won't be able to cope.
The state of the world and the country won't change as easily as raising the prices on a diner menu.
Considering that, I always come back to the idea that the best path is to be able to feel happy myself and make those around me happy. That's the most important value. However, no matter how much you try to avoid it, news still reaches your ears (even without a TV), and papers for taxes, social insurance collections, and pensions still arrive.
We pay taxes, and as citizens, we have a duty to complain and voice our opinions. And we have that right. The prime minister should be decided by popular vote, and there are even things that have been moved forward and approved without our knowledge that are unfavorable to us. The news never covers them.
Whose politics are these? Posters with slogans like "Working for the people!" make me sick. We have no choice but to protect ourselves.
I wish I had learned more about politics as a child, and I think it's important to feel that way. If so, what we can do will also change.
