Thank you for coming to our POPUP STORE @ Laforet Harajuku! - Part 1

POPUP STORE @ Laforet Harajyuku ありがとう!ーvo,1

Hello.

It's been a while!

To everyone who came to the KOBINAI POPUP STORE @ Laforet Harajuku, thank you so much! And to those who couldn't make it, and those I couldn't meet, I hope we can meet again someday!

In Tokyo, it was the first POPUP since the new project started, and I was able to stand in the store for quite a long time, listening to everyone's stories and conveying messages directly, and also taking orders for paintings. It was a great experience.

I had the valuable experience of meeting and talking to people I'd never met before. Thank you so much. I was so moved that words can't express it (I'm usually a recluse and don't talk to people much, so it was even more moving) lol.

It was two weeks that will always be a memory for me!

It made me so happy to know that my words, messages, and colors could, even in a small way, help with everyone's daily frustrations and sadness,

or perhaps with moments of joy and happiness. And conversely, just being showered with those words from everyone was a happy shower for me, lol.

Now that I've been drenched in that happy shower, I intend to live my life by giving back twice as much.

Halfway through this POPUP, we started selling the ART BOOK (EPISODE-1 of the picture book), and everyone, more than I expected (really, much more than I expected lol), came to see the picture book and got one.

And I was like, "Wowwww!" The reason is that this new project was about creating a picture book and then turning the stories and characters that came out of that picture book into clothes.

You asked, "Will it continue?" Yes, it will. It's not just one book, but I think the next one will be EPISODE 2 & 3 combined, which will complete the story!

The birth of LIAR in EPISODE-1- sold out at the POPUP, so a small quantity has been restocked!

Since it's a hardcover, you can display it in your room, read it to your children, or read it to yourself.

Please read it!

There are only a few ARMOR DRESSes left! There are no plans for a restock, so if you're interested, please get one before they're gone.

This dress was made by envisioning lace as armor. Lace might seem feminine or fluffy, but if you layer it dozens of times, it should look strong.

I created it with the image of strength that doesn't match its appearance, and how it looks strong when layered dozens of times.

I am about 159cm tall.

I made the length short; I could have made it a bit longer, but the mini silhouette looked stronger and cuter in terms of balance, so it's short!

As I might have mentioned before, this dress was designed so that you can wear a long-sleeved inner layer in spring and autumn, and wear it on its own in summer.

I can't introduce everything in just one blog post, so

to be continued next time!!!!
