It's MAIMI!
POPUP STORE @ Laforet Harajyuku Thank you! - vol.2 I'm still basking in the afterglow as I update my blog.
Lately, I've been watching a lot of movies and entering an absorption period, so I'm thinking of updating MAIMI'S BRAIN as well. I want to go to the movies... but I still haven't been able to go. The movies I want to see often start at 11 in the morning, which is too early for me to absorb much. Lol.
But maybe that's just a preconceived notion.
Just a preconceived notion that I can't absorb things early in the morning.
Lately, I've been trying to break down my preconceived notions one by one. Lol.
Well, that was a very long introduction.
I cut my hair by about 30cm, so I wore a barrette. I have a habit of wanting to decorate my head with something (especially headbands), so when I wear a barrette, it gets super embellished. Lol.
I really do love to embellish. Is it a remnant from my gyaru days? Lol.
I also like things that are messy, and I embellish so much that it's almost too much, to the point where you might wonder if I can't subtract anything.
Someday, I want to create a work with the theme of "embellishment." Lol.
The LETTER SKIRT is a pleated skirt I made with the image of a letter, intending to draw a letter from me to everyone. I made the waist a little looser. I thought it would be good to wear it high-waisted and cinch it with a belt.
In my case, embellishment appears here again. I added BRAIN leggings.
This is how it looks. Dressing all in white is my current obsession (or rather, my mood). I don't know why, but I feel a pounding heart and want to dance when I'm faced with a blank canvas (the excitement before painting). Maybe that's influencing it too.
It's not that I'm not in the mood for black, but rather I'm in the mood for white.
And on top of that, I'll relentlessly add paintings and文字.
That's the feeling.
But still, I need color, patterns, and embellishment, so I gave it a punch with leggings and thought, "Yeah. Good." Lol.
There's only one pair of RE BORN boots left! Only one size remains. I wear one size larger than my usual. I think a bulkier boot looks stronger and suits delicate clothes and styles better.
And even one size larger, they're still very comfortable to wear.
White and red, good.
"Red challenge on a white canvas."
That's the feeling.
I feel red is the color of challenge.
Personally, I like this combination.
I named the leftmost pants [4GB]pants. The reason is, it tells the story of MINORITY FAMILY packed into 4GB of storage. Since the storage is full, I will increase the capacity and expand the story more and more.
With that meaning. And everyone is part of that story.
It exists.
In the middle are the EPISODE -1- PANTS The design features LIAR, who appears in the story of KOBINAI's new project's beginning.
The lace hem is inspired by the "opening" = curtains.
The rightmost IMPORTANT PANTS are all-over print MINORITY FAMILY pants. IMPORTANT = significant It means exactly that.
IMPORTANT = MINORITY FAMILY
That's how it is!
So,
It got long again, so it continues in the second half!
