Long time no see, it's MAIMI. Thank you to everyone who came to the SUMMER POPUP! For those who couldn't make it, I hope to see you next time!
I enjoyed summer after a long time, looking like a "dark-skinned gal" from Congarino, and it was an uplifting festival being able to talk to everyone.
It was fun~ POPUPs are truly enjoyable. There were still people I met for the first time, and I received a lot of energy from them. There were times when it was crowded, and I still felt like I hadn't talked or conveyed enough, so I hope to chat about those things at my solo exhibition and the next POPUP.
Oh!
If you look closely, my shoulder is peeling off, lol.
The Limited items were super popular both online and in-store, combining past and current items with abundant messages and art, some even featuring items from Yacchimaou.
I was wearing the new summer collection.
I named this "MOKO'S DREAM." It's about the dream of "MEMO," inspired by a large cat named Moko living at my grandmother's house.
I created this design on a day when I wished I could dive into and swim in that dream.
She wouldn't get attached to anyone, nor let anyone touch her, that fluffy cat. I wanted to touch her. The moment I did, I was bitten. I was scared of her, but she still walked around with her fluffy fur swaying. Her white fur sparkled in the sunlight. She looked cool until the very end. If I had been a little older, I could have talked to Moko.Moko, what were you feeling?
The scorching hot days continue,
and it finally rained, making it a bit cooler,
but summer isn't over yet! Let's keep the good vibes going!
THANK YOU SUMMER POPUP!!! blog post
