[My Me] Where Is a Peace? Dress

This dress features a graphic print combining photographs of cityscapes taken by designer MAIMI during her travels in Europe with MAIMI's artwork and words.

Is a peace sign just a symbol? Where is peace?

Perhaps it has become just a "symbol" or "word" because we don't truly understand peace? It's not the time for us to impersonate "someone," wear masks, and pretend to understand.

This series expresses the "sense of unease" MAIMI felt during her travels and themes of discovering a new self.
The "discovery of a new self" means pulling out the other self hidden within and dancing with it. She felt that by dancing, she could enjoy this unsettling world.

I want to dance and jump through this distorted world, breaking through the uncomfortable reality.
